  • Install low-flow shower heads
  • Switch to LED light bulbs
  • Switch to motion-sensing floodlights
  • Caulk and weather-strip around windows and doors
  • Have the HVAC inspected annually
  • Drain the water heater tank annually
  • Upgrade attic and basement insulation
